I have been in / out of real estate for 2 decades….to find myself definitely IN for the

long haul. I was previously a closer with M/I Homes and then became an agent for Stirling Sotheby’s in their Auction Department. I then got into Purchasing in the Concrete industry which has maintained my negotiation and relationship building skills.

Allow me to share with you my earned certificates and designations: ABR, GKC, AHWD, C2EX

This designation (ABR) signifies a Real Estate agent who is focused on working directly with buyer-clients at every stage of the home-buying process. To receive this designation, a Real Estate agent must be in good standing with their local board, have solo closed 5 buyer transactions, taken an elective course and attended a 2 day class focused on successfully interacting with buyers.

AHWD stands for At Home with Diversity and is a NAR certification program designed to present a picture of the changing face of the real estate industry. Since 1998, the At Home with Diversity program has prepared over 20,000 Realtors to work effectively with and within today’s increasingly diverse pool of homebuyers.

These initials (GKC) stand for Gold Key Certified. This Excellence in Professionalism and distinguishes a Real Estate agent who has demonstrated the highest level of commitment to professionalism and service.

The C2EX Competencies is the Commitment to Excellence Program which is defined by 11 competencies which indicate a Realtor who has commitment to ethics, advocacy, technology, data privacy, outstanding customer service and much more. Each competency is tied to tasks and learning modules which are preceded by a Skills Assessment.
